This video was recorded by local man Willie O'Mahony and shows the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Youghal back in 1983 (and also the parade from 1982 or earlier).

This video was recorded by local man Willie O'Mahony and shows the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Youghal back in 1983. The parade can be seen in its entirety marching along Kent Street and The Mall and then going up the main street, passing the podium where the Youghal Town Councillors, TD's, heads of the local churches and dignitaries are seated. Most clubs and organisations can be seen in this fascinating clip as well as The Boys' Brigade who were celebrating their 100 anniversary that year.
