Sharjah airport is located in 13 kilometres southeast of Sharjah city centre. It is the only international airport serving the city. The airport consists of a single passenger terminal. It is an airbase for Air Arabia, Lufthansa Cargo, and Singapore Airlines cargo. The airport can facilitate about ten million passengers around the year.

SIA is currently the second busiest freight handling airport in the Middle East, after Dubai International Airport. The airport has a passenger traffic handling capacity of more than eight million each year and a cargo handling capacity of 500,000t of cargo per year.

Sharjah International Airport has three terminals. Terminal 1 serves the airline traffic, and Terminal 2 and 3 serve the cargo airlines.

The lounge is located on the first floor opposite the Transfer Desk. After duty free, turn to the left and follow the signs. Its welcoming space, comfortable seating, delicious international cuisine and friendly service make it an idea place to rest, relax and refresh before your flight. The Lounge has a relaxation zone, interactive children’s play area and shower facilities.
Centrally located in the Terminal, it is open 24 hours a day, offers superfast Wi-Fi and all-day dining. Light bites and a wide range of beverages are served all day, with a sumptuous buffet service at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

• Lunch buffet is available from 12:00pm to 17:00pm
• Dinner buffet is available from 17:30pm to 01:30am
