Sobibór. History of extermination hidden in objects. Episode 1. Part 2

The personal items of women, men, and children; ordinary things of everyday use, as well as some unique objects of aesthetic and commemorative value; items that were either lost, hidden by their owners, omitted or rejected in the sorting workshops while preparing the shipments of the looted goods sent into the Third Reich.

All of these artefacts bear testimony of the tragic fate of their owners and other victims. They also shed the light on both the history of the place itself, the atrocities committed there, and the ruthlessness of the Nazi perpetrators.
