Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Sonic Speedrun in

Some big things are happening in Sonic 2 speedrunning. Chemical Plant Act 1 and Casino Night Act 1 has setups for their level wraps, which saves 5 seconds and 6 seconds respectively. Metropolis Act 1 now has a brand new level wrap which saves 12-13 seconds. Chemical Plant Act 2 has a zip that is faster than doing the Tails door manipulation method that saves 6 seconds. These are all strategies and advancements the community has made over the course of 2022. Judging by my Sum of Bests, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 could potentially become a 12:xx time if everything comes together. It will be a grueling grind, so at the moment I'll be aiming for a lower 13:xx time.



There's a great deal of errors in the run, which goes to show how much can be improved on the run.
