Winter Field Day 2019 - Idaho SOTA & Ham Radio

As I continue to stretch my legs and travel around the US for SOTA, it was only right I stopped in northern Idaho and visited my dad, a soon to be ham radio operator. After trudging up some snow covered trails and roads we found our first summit to activate for winter field day 2019. Luckily cell service works well in that area because soon after we spotted we knocked out 11 contacts inside of 8 minutes. Finished up with some lessons learned when traveling to do SOTA in new areas.
