A trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway from Pickering to Whitby, with a look at Thornton Le Dale and Hutton Le Hole Villages and the Ryedale Folk Museum. We also pass through Cropton Village and look at Cawthorn Roman Camp.
Note, this was 2022 and not 2020 as I incorrectly stated in the video.
George Stephenson' s son was Robert Stephenson inventor of the early steam locomotive 'The Rocket' not Robert Louis Stephenson the Scottish novelist.
