Kit of the Week! 'NY Studios' SDX, TD50X and TM6 Pro

eDrum nerds! Time for another “Kit of the Week!”! I recently upgraded from SD2 to SD3 (finally). In this video I’m using an SDX I got with SD2, “NY Studios Vol 1”. This is the ‘Big Apple’ kit from NY Avatar studios. Here, I’m layering it on top of the base kit which is a Vexpression kit named ‘Mainstream’ that I modified to have a high snare. I also have the kick & snare triggering a TM6 Pro, so here, you’re hearing a TD50X, a TM6 Pro and a Superior Drummer SDX. The kick pad is Y-cabled, and I have an RT30 HR external trigger on the Digital snare, running to the TM6. Love the sound of this blend!! The Toms are full & punchy, and listen to that crack and ring on the snare!
