Behind the Design | Be True 2023 | Nike

Designer and artist Zoe Schlacter (they/them) joins Nike designers Mansoor Amjed (he/him) and Raveena Bhalara (she/her) to take a deep dive into how their distinct geometric patterns and bold, colorful graphics came to life on the apparel and footwear of the 2023 Be True collection. Adorned with hues reminiscent of the iconic Pride flag, the collection pulls inspiration from nostalgia and the legends and dreamers of LGBTQIA+ communities that paved the way for generations to come.
