For pitching the Nordic Tipi you need: canvas, central pole, tent pegs, mounting cross, and measuring tape.

Start by measuring out for the pegs with the mounting cross. Use this side of the mounting cross if you have a Safir or Zirkon model. And this side for the Onyx model. The yellow and green section on the mounting cross indicates where the door will be located.

Use a peg to pin down the mounting cross where you want the center of your Nordic tipi to be.

Pull out the measuring tape and use the solid lines to measure out pegs for a tent size 5, 7 or 9 . Use both the solid and dashed lines to measure out pegs for a tent size 15. Put a tent peg by the marking corresponding to the size of your tent.

Place the pegs in a 45 degree angle to prevent them from loosening.
Do this all way around until you have measured out eight pegs, in a circle. 16 if you have a size 15. Spread the Nordic tipi out.

Pull the ground rings over the tent pegs. Push the pegs all the way down
Assemble the central pole. Put the central pole through the opening of the tent and locate the cap at the top of the Nordic tipi and put the central pole inside it.

Raise the Nordic tipi by pushing the central pole upwards. Put the central pole in the regulating tube holder and place the pole in the centre of the tent.

Close the door and tighten the ground straps all the way round. Be sure to tighten all ground straps equally to get an even tension.
Fold the reinforced edging inwards if you are using a floor.
If you are not using a floor, fold the reinforced edging outwards. In both cases, you peg it to the ground with hook pegs.

Fasten the cords by the air intakes. The storm cords mounted on the outside of the Nordic Tipi does not need to be used in most weathers.
If you need them, in very windy weather, the cords are pegged to the ground with Y-pegs as far away from the tent as possible for maximum effects.

If the door is hard to close, don’t force it as it might damage the zipper. Instead, release tension on the ground straps by the door and place the two adjacent pegs closer to each other.
