May 2024 just 2 days after crossing the bridge at Santa Ana, the bridge suffered a catastrophic structural failure falling into the river with the very sad loss of 8 lives. Built in 2012 it should have lasted a lot longer than its 12 years. This is a fly over film of the fallen bridge.
