You're hearing the IEM (In-Ear Monitor) mix I hear when performing live. The metronome is a bit louder in this mix than I hear in real life, due to compression, but other than that, you're hearing exactly what I hear on stage.

This was the first run of shows with TesseracT where we had a dedicated monitoring engineer (Dan Williams) who did a ridiculously good job for us. In the past, I've had a rough time hearing what I need to on stage, particularly the snare. So having a professionally-handled IEM mix made the biggest difference to my abilities on stage. I could relax because I wasn't over-compensating by hitting harder when previously, for example, I couldn't quite hear the snare or a fill... I could simply relax and play the way I'd normally play at these shows - which is a DREAM!

We've never performed this song live as a band before these three shows, so it's still quite fresh and will no doubt evolve and become more comfortable over time, but I'm not mad at this performance overall.
