How To Add Column Validation To A SharePoint List

This SharePoint list tutorial will demonstrate how to use column validation in SharePoint. It will outline how to add column validation to a SharePoint list. SharePoint list column validation allows you to implement business rules to guide what data can be entered in columns. This video will outline five SharePoint list column validation formula examples.

First, it will demonstrate how to implement SharePoint list column validation length, that checks the length of the value being entered in a column.
