Maine by Sea Kayak EP 1: Portland to the Penobscot Bay

Join me on the first leg of my 200 Mile SOLO Sea Kayak journey along Maine’s coastline! In this episode I paddle from my launching point in Portland, ME, to a remote island on the edge of the enormous Penobscot Bay. I’ll be preparing to make the 9 mile open- ocean passage to the island of Vinalhaven!

This Episode is part of a series called “Maine by Sea Kayak”, in which I document my unique expedition over 200 MI of coastline from Portland , ME, to Cutler, ME.

This episode has been RE-POSTED. I was a little bit dissatisfied with my original work and I wanted to add a bit more information into the video. I will try and do better with the music in the next episodes, things get a little more epic as I paddle northeast so I am saving the best for later!
