Today on the Pasadena Subdivision Kaiser sent out the auxiliary power set for the run of the BNSF Pasadena Roadswitcher to Irwindale with BNSF 180 at the helm. It was another long run today, featuring 1 tank car for Q&B Foods, 13 cars for the Pabst Brewery (6 tanks and 7 hoppers), and 12 boxcars for the Pomona warehouses, for a total of 26 cars. Today's run had the most cars on record for the Pabst Irwindale Brewery since the pre 2020 era under Miller.

I kicked off today's chase in Claremont, not far from the Metrolink Station. BNSF 180's P3 airhorn is relatively quiet, and heavily fouled, and the train actually snuck up on me despite trying to listen for it. My second shot was also in Claremont, at CP Cambridge. Shots 3 and 4 were in Pomona as the train pulled onto the siding to drop the 12 boxcars off for switching once the train returned from Irwindale.

My next shot was in Downtown La Verne, by a mural on a former Citrus Packing House that depicts scenes from the city's past, including the old Santa Fe Station that has long been demolished. Shot 6 was in San Dimas at the pedestrian crossing near the San Dimas Santa De Depot. Shot's 7-9 were at various locations on the long segment of Pasadena Sub trackage in Glendora, and the final shot was in Azusa at the Santa Fe Depot. Thanks for watching!
