The Doune Classic Hillclimb was held on 18th & 19th May 2024.
Classic cars from the 1930's up to the year 2000 were competing on "The King of the Hills" at Doune. There were classes for such cars as Austin Seven Specials, Triumph sports cars, MG Midgets and Austin Healey Sprites plus various other racing, sports and saloon cars.
I was running my 1970 Jeffrey 750cc sports racing car which has a 750 Reliant Regal engine (but tuned a bit! - it revs to 8500rpm). I was competing against my friends Terrapin sports racing car which has a 1380cc Mini A-Series engine in the back.
