Peak District Walks: Wildboar Clough Grade 2/3 Scramble and the Blenheim Mk 1 Crash Site

Описание к видео Peak District Walks: Wildboar Clough Grade 2/3 Scramble and the Blenheim Mk 1 Crash Site

This superb route up the north side of Bleaklow is probably one of the most famous and exciting scrambles in the Dark Peak. Wildboar Clough is a Grade 2-3 Scramble with several good sections of actual climbing but only up about 3 or 4 metres making it relatively safe. Be cautious though as the scramble follows a stream and after heavy rain it may be flooded in places and we also found the rock to be very slippery due to the algae buildup.

After enjoying the superb scrambling we headed across the moor to visit the crash site of the Blenheim Mk 1.

Distance: 8.5km
Ascent: 369m
Duration: 3 Hours 47 Minutes
