Strengths

Low budgets compared to other major EU leagues
Italy is going through a barren spell for high potential players compared to Germany, France, England and Spain

Most appearances - 657 (Gianluigi Buffon)

League Rules

Each year you can sign one Non EU player from any nation
You can also sign another, if you sell one of your Non EU players from your squad to a non Italian team.
Example - AS Roma can sign Phil Foden in season one. If they also want to sign Mo Salah, they’ll have to let one of their Non EU players, such as Tammy Abraham leave the club.
Each squad can have 25 players, with an unlimited amount of Non EU players. This means you could eventually use the 1 slot a year to make a team where every player is from Brazil if you really wanted.

Signing Suggestions

Has been strong scandinavian influence on league historically
One of few countries British players go, but now count as non EU
Italians & Italian ethnicity South American players
A good amount of North Americans have played in league
Common stepping stone from other Southern European leagues (Greece, Turkey, Romania) and second division (Serie B)

Fan Culture

https://www.thetotallyfootballshow.co...
The culture is in many ways very different to the hooligans of Britain in the 1980s, but there are big similarities, particularly in their attitude to the actual sport they are following.
“Very often they’re not that into football,” said Tobias. “It’s all about brotherhood, and colours, and our suburb or town or city or whatever it is. There’s this strange paradox where they are obsessed with football, but at the same time they don’t care about [the game].
