Qualcomm 5G Summit: Day 1

The global 5G ecosystem continues to grow at a rapid pace, and innovations into new technologies are making 5G connectivity a new standard across the world. Qualcomm 5G Summit 2021 is a premium hosted event that looks to showcase all the exciting new innovations in 5G technology, with ideas and trends for the present and future.

The announcement of a 5G module for PCs also allows manufacturers to quickly and cost-effectively develop new data card modules for consumer PCs and devices.

Qualcomm Vice President of Engineering Vanitha Kumar dives deeper into the growth of 5G mmWave connectivity, and how the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida, is a shining example of how 5G mmWave can transform sports venues and live entertainment areas. Crowded venues often come with high network traffic congestion, and 5G mmWave connectivity spread across a crowded area greatly improves everything from network access for crowds to digital security enhancements with faster, more reliable network traffic.
