In this video we will show you how to install the Weisslicht LED upgrade angel eye (Often called Halo rings or Demon eyes) bulbs on an early E90 3-series sedan (06-08). This installation requires removal of the inner wheel housing splash guards in order to access the Angel Eye bulbs. Most other BMW installations are an easy direct replacement for the original bulbs and are done from under the hood.

Start by safely lifting and supporting the front of the vehicle (see our article on how to safely lift and support your BMW at - http://www.bavauto.com/newsletter/200...

Remove the front wheel and tire. Now, remove the inner wheel splash liner by removing the 8mm and 10mm fasteners and then pull the liner out. We can now remove the angel eye bulb housing cover by using a screw driver to pry the upper and lower locking tabs and pulling the cover rearward. Remove the two wiring connectors from the bulb contact terminals. Use the included T-15 Torx driver tool to loosen and remove the two Torx screws. Pull the bulb assembly rearward and out of the housing. Also remove the bulb mounting bracket. We'll now mount the new Weisslicht LED angel eye bulb assembly to the plastic mounting bracket and reinstall the assembly into the headlight housing. Install the two Torx screws and connect the two wiring connectors to the LED bulb assembly. Before we finish the installation, turn on the lights to test the new LED installation. If all is working properly, finish the install by reinstalling the bulb housing cover, inner wheel liner and the wheel and tire.

You now have bright, white, LED angel eye rings that nicely match the HID (Xenon) headlight bulbs and make your BMW look more like the current models that have original LED angel eye rings.
