Easy Sambar Rice Recipe in Cooker

Ingredients

Raw Rice - 1 cup
Toor dal - 1/2 cup
Moong dal - 2 tablespoons
Small onion - 15 to 20 shallots
Chopped beans - 1 cup
Sliced carrots - 1 or 2 numbers
Chopped tomato - 1 medium size
Brinjal chopped - 3 numbers
Sambar powder - 1 tablespoon
Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Fenugreek - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - as per taste
Water - 5 cups
Tamarind extract - 1/2 cup
Chopped coriander - for garnish
Ghee - 2 to 3 tablespoons

For tadka

Cooking oil - 1/4 cup
Ghee - 2 tablespoons
Mustard - 1 teaspoon
Urad dal - 1/2 tablespoon
Cashews - 15 numbers
Black pepper - a little
Dry red chilli - 3 numbers
Curry leaves - a little
Asafetida (Hing) - 1 teaspoon
