Описание к видео Ahuna Le (Sumi Naga Folk Song/Festival Song)

Ahuna is a festival celebrated by the Sumi tribes of Nagaland, India. It is celebrated every year on 14th November. Ahuna festival begins after all the grains and crops are harvested and gathered, and thus it marks the end of the agricultural cycle. The most significant thing about this festival is the act of cooking fresh and newly harvested rice from bamboo vessels. It is a festival where the young and old come together to celebrate the fruitfulness of their hardwork. This song is a call for celebration, a call for the young and old to come together and revive the legacy of our ancestors.
