This video is a lot like my cover of "Mood" by 24kGoldn. I wanted to take something different/modern and completely twist it on its head! Instead of layering this song with significant production and various instruments, I decided to strip it down and express myself using only my voice and my piano. I'm so happy with the way it turned out. Because this cover is slowed down and stripped, you have the chance to really listen to the lyrics. They're actually pretty sad if you think about it... We've all been in a place of longing for someone we used to have. I feel that this cover of "Save Your Tears" really captures the nostalgic, sad perspective that The Weeknd tried to express. I never imagined it to mean so much to me, but I am so proud of my work. I hope you enjoyed listening!
