The lightweight adventure motorcycle scene is increasing in popularity, and with good reason. With their low cost of entry, well-roundedness on and off-road, and a high fun factor being just some of the reasons riders are picking up smaller ADV motorcycles. Within this segment are the Honda CRF300L and Kawasaki KLX300, both of which embodying what a lite adventure bike should be. After getting our hands on these bikes and doing a head-to-head in their stock form, we decided to throw some parts on these motorcycles and take them on a real adventure through western Utah and into Nevada for a real comparison.
