Easy HOMEMADE Egg Potato Chop

Today I am going to share with you, my family's favourite, Egg Potato Chop! They are so easy to prepare and so delicious. This Egg Potato Chop recipe is perfect for Lent or whenever you are looking for a vegetarian addition to your meal!

Ingredients

6 Eggs, boiled and halved

For the Potato Mix
1 tbsp Oil
1 Medium Onion, finely chopped
3 Garlic Cloves, minced
2 tsp Red Chili Flakes
Salt to taste
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Lemon Zest
4 (1 kg) Potatoes, boiled and mashed
½ tsp Pepper Powder
2 tbsp Cilantro/Coriander, finely chopped

For the Coating
2 Egg
½ cup All Purpose Flour
1-2 cups Bread Crumbs, plain or seasoned
Salt

For Frying
Oil
