I am back with another Limpopo vlog.

My little cousin went to Komeng (Initiation School) which is basically a rite of passage for women. They teach them a bunch of things pertaining womanhood.

It’s a practice that has been around for years and years. My great grandmother and generations before her practiced this tradition and it was passed down. We were basically just celebrating her and her safe return, she was then given money so she can recite the clans names she learned during the process. Sereto is an indication that indeed she went to komeng so hence they celebrate her by giving her money.
