This is a data visualisation showing the Top 10 best performing batsmen in test cricket between 1980 and 2019 based on official ICC rankings.

ICC rankings were recorded one week after the commencement of each test match UNLESS there was no change in the ranking of a top 10 batsman (in that case the data point was skipped to maintain fluidity of the visualisation).

Data sourced from relianceiccrankings.com and howstat.com.
