Incerti: Anonymous Baroque Composers | Ministers of Pastime · MarchVivo

Описание к видео Incerti: Anonymous Baroque Composers | Ministers of Pastime · MarchVivo

Although anonymity in the world of artistic creation is a concept of diverse causes and implications, the accidental loss of authorship, as in the case of many pieces collected in 18th century compendiums, is usually reason enough for their fall into oblivion. However, the quality of many of these incerti authored works in the Partiturbuch Ludwig collection, mostly of German and Italian music from the 18th century, calls into question the 19th century paradigm of the composer as revealed genius.
