Today's video is a stop to see one of the old Erie Canal locks in the Albany NY area. My mom and I were in the area for a concert and I found this on the map for nearby attractions so we decided to check it out. I love history so it was a sure thing for me. we walked 1.24 miles from the Whipple Bridge (parking) to get to the old lock. A LOT OF GEESE so be warned. We got Hissed at by the males. There's a lot of beautiful nature sounds as you walk to the lock. An interesting thing with this location, the to Albany International Airport is about a mile away. So there's planes constantly with the nature sounds.
Overall a good walk and historical place. I Highly Recommend It.
