This session highlighted the importance of community of practice (CoP), core principles of building and maintaining the CoP and how we could apply them to ADB context in the operation of Sector and Thematic Groups (STGs).

In very demanding times, the energy of the community can reinvigorate its members and help them adapt to new ways of working
The STGs within ADB are part of an ecosystem which is supported by communities of different kinds, both internal and external
We need to become more aware of how communities work so that we can nurture them appropriately.
