Welcome to Day 2 of 14 Days of DBT Skills! Today I am talking about Non-Judgmental Stance which is absolutely key for me in managing intense emotions. Judging myself or jumping to conclusions about what is happening before I have all the information I need to make an informed decision usually leads to additional stress and intensifies painful emotions. Learning how to have a non-judgmental stance towards situations that activate painful emotions and towards my own emotions has been really helpful. I hope this video can help you too.
