The Best 55 Plus Communities In Richmond Va | Part 1 North Of The River | Over 55 Communities

In this video we highlight 6 of the absolute BEST 55 Plus communities in Richmond Va north of the river. In our part 2 video we will also cover the best 55 Plus communities in Richmond south of the river. In part 1, you will get to see the CrossRidge community, Parkside Village, The Manor At Hunton Park, The Bluffs At Bell Creek Condos, Chickahominy Falls, and Mosaic At West Creek. We feel that these 6 neighborhoods are the absolute best over 55 communities around Richmond.

We begin the video with the CrossRidge community. You can't talk about 55+ neighborhoods in Richmond without mentioning CrossRidge. CrossRidge is gigantic, situated on over 400 acres with almost 750 residences within it. There is something for everyone (at least everyone 55 and older). The are detached carriage style homes with small yards, duplex condos (townhome style), townhomes, and condos. CrossRidge has a very nice clubhouse and pavillion with very nice amenities, AND there is a Publix grocery store shopping center right out front of the neighborhood.

Next we visit Parkside Village which is a newer construction 55+ community built by Eagle Construction. We love the craftsman exterior style elevations, and the floorplans are nice and updated with open concept living. The HOA is a very reasonable $175 per month too.

The Manor At Hunton Park is part of the Hunton Park master planned community and is the 55+ section within it. The Manor At Hunton Park is a gated community full of duplex style townhomes where each building contains 2 units and only 1 shared wall. Both a pro & a con you have very easy highway access to I-295 but towards the back of the neighborhood you can hear the noise from the highway. There is a clubhouse and community pool for exclusive use by the residents of The Manor At Hunton Park.

Next you get to see The Bluffs At Bell Creek Condos. The Bluffs At Bell Creek is a large neighborhood in Mechanicsville Va with single family homes, townhomes, and a section of 55+ condos. What's great about this community is that the condos are located directly across the street from the community pool and tennis courts, and there is a large Food Lion shopping center located very very close by.

Chickahominy Falls is a brand new 55+ community development with new construction still ongoing. Sarah and I love Chickahominy Falls and it is our absolute favorite 55+ community in this video. Within Chickahominy Falls there is a 10 acre working farm that sells produce, there is a nice large clubhouse with pool, walking trails, dog park, and even a fishing pond. There are detached single family homes, cottage style condos, villa style condos, single level townhomes, and a luxury single family section towards the back.

We end at the newest 55+ community, Mosaic At West Creek. Mosaic At West Creek is located just west of Highway 288 and is very close to the Short Pump area. HHHunt is building townhomes within it, and Schell Brothers, Boone Homes, and Stylecraft are building single family homes. There will be a very large clubhouse and a really nice pool completed in Mosaic At West Creek soon. If you are looking for a newer construction 55+ community, Mosaic At West Creek could be a great fit!
