Woodturning a Maple Leaf

In this video I use the lathe to make a maple leaf in the shape of a shallow bowl. The woodturning is a bit challenging because of all the interrupted cuts on the outer perimeter of the piece and sanding takes longer than most pieces this size. I also show how I buff the piece after the finish has cured in order to get a really nice and smooth surface.
