HOW IT ALL WENT WRONG! WILD WEATHER, WHISKEY, FLIPOUTS, FLOODS, FOOD AND FRIENDS - IN TASMANIA

You know that saying "It's not all beer and skittles"? In this episode, it certainly wasn't. Well, it was still beer, but a lack of skittles was definitely on display.

East Coast Low wreaks havoc on our plans in Freycinet, the rain comes in, we struggle with a wet van and car recovery on a rainy night, the car ends up on a tow truck, the floods come, we smoke a bit of salmon, eat some amazing food and go behind the scenes with Felix at Blue Inc. . .

From Swansea to Hamilton, Ouse and then back to Launceston. This was not how things were supposed to go. . .but that's the deal sometimes hey. You can plan all you like. . .but this just goes to prove, even with you go with the flow. . .you can still get stuck in the flood. (😂 Dad puns FTW!)

But the real MVP's are the Vaggabonds. Who made all of that experience somewhat of an amazing adventure of friendship, fun and rolling with the punches. Good company makes all the difference and we're so very, very grateful to them. Epic people with hearts of gold. ❤️

I'll be honest, this episode (from a visual perspective) is far from stunning. . .but it's real. It's what happened. Sometimes the weather gets crap - and on this occasion I didn't stop filming. . .I just didn't pull out the RED because it's not so water-proof and even with it's formidable sensor, grey rainy days are just grey rainy days. . .not much dynamic range and not much colour to capture to start with.
