The Dawson Road residents landed the cash when their postcode, DL12 8JZ, was drawn as the winner of Saturday's Street Prize.

One of the winners was Scott, who will be celebrating his 30th birthday next month. He was blown away when he discovered how much he had won. He said, "Oh my god, wow, this is just absolutely amazing! There's just so much that I can do with £30,000 and I'm not quite sure where to begin but I think a holiday with my other half and our little boy seems like a good place to start! I'll be treating the family and putting some away for a rainy day too.
