Dynasty Warriors 3 - The Nanman Campaign | Sun Shang Xiang (Very Hard)

SSX is fast and easy to use but she is lacking in reach so you really have to learn when an enemy is open.

The majority of Nanman officers in this stage will use peon movesets. Peons get their own full moveset in this game with their own charge attacks, a complete S-string and a musou, not like modern games where they are just punching bags with literally 1 or 2 attacks. So for them being on an officer still makes them a threat, just luckily not as much as a threat since the peon moveset is still quite slow (but not slow enough that they can't finish a full combo on you).

The stage is honestly quite easy, however Nanman's HQ is quite hard to deal with. A ton of their archers are placed at vantage points and spread out in safe positions. You really want to rush down Meng Huo at the gate rather than luring him down from his position.

I feel a lot of areas on this map never get to be seen. You really do need to go out of your way for most of it too.
