4-5-2024, Training with The Family 15 Racing in Abanilla, Murcia, Spain!

Last Saturday we trained at the Abanilla track with our team The Family 15 Racing. Saturday afternoon trainings are always great because generally there is a good turnout of team mates and everybody is in that nice weekend vibe. Mx in Spain means most of the year dust because, especially in South/East Spain, it almost never rains. Abanilla is one of our favourites because of some really good jumps, some long stretches and gapped curves. However it is also a track that doesn't have irrigation. That means that it mostly is a very dusty situation. Unlike other tracks like Solmoto in Totana and FS Suspension (also in Totana) where the irrigation is really good and the track in great shape. Soon we will go back again to Solmoto and FS Suspension, but for now Abanilla will do. Jac could not ride because he had a little accident last week in Solmoto. He landed a bit to hard and had his foot bruised quite badly. We used the time he couldnt ride to have his bike serviced at the FS Suspension workshop in Lorca. New piston and some internal work on the gearbox to keep it all up to date. Kayden´s bike was also done, but because he could ride as usual, his was done first so that he could ride again in the weekend. A big thanks again to FS Suspension for doing such an amazing job in such limited time. This coming weekend we will be training in Lorca with of course our team, but organised by the Murcia Federation (FMRM). Hopefully Jac´s bike will be ready by than. According to his doctor he should be ok to ride again by the weekend, so fingers crossed.
