During the 90-minute third session of the learning series: Supporting Compliance with the EU Regulation on Deforestation-free Products, the focus was on traceability methods, tools, and initiatives across commodities. The last two sessions focused on traceability systems related to the beef and coffee sectors.

It was an interactive and open session that provided a space for practitioners to bring in their ideas on concerns for implementation and compliance, as well as discuss possible solutions to the upcoming mandatory EU due diligence rules on deforestation-free global value chains.

The event was facilitated by UNDP’s Food and Agricultural Commodity Systems (FACS) team.
