Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way Part 2 Motorcycle Tour by BMW 1250 GSA and Triumph Tiger 900 - Ep 4

In this episode not only does the sun finally make an appearance but we ride some stunning roads including the amazing Gap of Mamore! We leave the wet and windy Donegal Town (where we had a great night!) heading North East via a brilliant breakfast stop in Letterkenny. The road took us into "Amazing Grace" country, which was a real surprise to me having lived in the market town of Olney, Buckinghamshire where John Newton wrote his now world famous hymn, "Amazing Grace". I had no idea that the coast round Lough Swilly was were he had his epiphany and vowed to change his life if God spared him from a terrible storm. Small world! And so from Amazing grace to an amazing road through The Gap of Mamore - a really beautiful ride through some stunning countryside and equally stunning views.
As we approached Malin Head it looked like the weather was turning wet again but thankfully after we arrived the sun once again appeared, making all the difference - even got a really good flat white from a roadside coffee vendor - so things were really looking up! The weather for the rest of the afternoon was stunning and our relaxing walk along the beach topped off a great day.
