ALL of This Land Was Given Away for Free - Here's Why | Nicolet Bay 27

Nicolet Bay has been dealing with a significant housing shortage for a number of years. This shortage is acutely felt at the new Superior State University - Nicolet Bay campus. It’s been so bad that it’s impacting the university’s ability to recruit faculty and students to the university.

To remedy this, Governor Sheila Johnson instructs the DNR to make state-owned lands available for a new residential development across the freeway from the University. This development would provide housing for students and faculty alike, while helping to reduce the housing countywide. shortage. An RFP is release for the development, and some familiar names make sure that they win the project – with the support of the university.

In this episode, we’ll build a new a portion of this new development including multifamily housing, a commercial district, and a large single-family student housing development. Additionally, we’ll build facilities that have been requested by the university, including an intramural sports complex, and additional dorms. Finally, build fix traffic – building a spectacular new pedestrian bridge over the highway, adding lanes to reduce congestion, and adding a new bus route linking the new neighborhood to the university. And at the end, we’ll make a few fixed based on YOUR feedback.
