So MANY Characters!! | Malazan Book of the Fallen | Gardens of the Moon Ep. 1

This is the first episode in my Gardens of the Moon series. There are a lot of characters and places, so the key is to not get bogged down in the details. Everybody basically falls into 4 main camps, so just file people and places away into those broad buckets and it will be a lot easier.

There's also only about 3 places that your REALLY need to have a good handle on. Pay attention in Pale and Darujhistan, and at the very beginning in Malaz City and Itko Kan and you'll be fine. You get to know the rest of the various lands over time, and it isn't super critical early on to feel like you know the whole world!
