'O Sole Mio - Accordion Solo - Fisarmonica

This is one of my favorite songs to play on my accordion. It is one of the first Italian songs I learned as well. I had a lot of fun recording this tune at David Lange Studios. David and his son, Ben, we're great to work with. They are not only amazing sound and video technicians, but amazing musicans too.

"’O sole mio" (Neapolitan pronunciation: [o ˈsoːlə ˈmiːə]) is a globally known Neapolitan song written in 1898. Its lyrics were written by Giovanni Capurro and the music was composed by Eduardo di Capua and Alfredo Mazzucchi [it] (1878–1972).[2] There are other versions of "’O sole mio" but it is usually sung in the original Neapolitan language. ’O sole mio is the Neapolitan equivalent of standard Italian Il mio sole and translates literally as "my sun" or "my sunshine".[3]
