Описание к видео Muffuletta sandwich with New Orleans olive spread

This MUFFULETTA SANDWICH is the most
famous sandwich in NEW ORLEANS.
Legend has it that the muffuletta sandwich was created in 1906 at the Central Grocery Co, in New Orleans, by the shop owner Salvatore Lupo, an Italian immigrant.
The traditional-style muffuletta sandwich consists of a focaccia split horizontally in two and covered with layers of chopped pickled vegetables, pickled olives, and topped with sliced ham, salami, mortadella, and sliced provolone cheese.
