Children's Sermon Lesson: Jesus Heals Hearts

The Gospels are full of accounts of the miracles of Jesus. These are amazing, but sometimes children get the idea that Jesus no longer works in our lives. This message encourages kids with the hope that we can trust the Lord for everyday miracles. He helps us with all things when we trust in Him. Even if we don’t have physical ailments that need healing, we have confidence that Jesus heals our hearts from sin sickness. He gives us hope and health!

Kristin is a servant of Christ who is blessed to currently be serving as Directory of Christian Education at Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Broomfield, CO. Originally a California native, Kristin has a master's in teaching from Biola University, as well as a master's in theology and a DCE certificate from Concordia Irvine. She spent several years in Georgia before being called to Colorado. She is overjoyed to be the mother of Samuel and wife of Colten, who also serves full-time at Risen Savior as Worship Director. In addition to enjoying her dream vocation, she also loves running, baking, music, history, and strong coffee.
