Описание к видео Dell Precision T3600 Workstation Review & Overview | Memory Install Tips | How to Configure | Gaming

The Dell Precision T3600 workstation is a great option for gaming or an office desktop. This system is a single socket tower running on Intel E5-1600 V1 or E5-2600 V1 series processors (LGA2011 socket). Unfortunately V2 processors are not supported. In our video, we will provide a general system overview as well as physically install memory inside our Dell T3600 tower. There are 4 DIMM slots. The system utilize DDR3 memory modules. There are a number of different speed options available including 1066MHz, 1333MHz or 1600MHz. The size options are 2GB, 4GB, 8GB or 16GB. You cannot put 32GB DIMMs into the T3600. There are 3 types of RAM compatible with the Dell Precision T3600: ECC Registered (RDIMM), ECC Unbuffered (Server UDIMM) or Non-ECC Unbuffered (Desktop UDIMM). Unfortunately, load reduced memory is not compatible. The max configuration depends on the type of RAM. RDIMMs have the highest scalability with 64GB via (4 x 16GB) DDR3 PC3-12800R 1600MHz ECC Registered Server Memory. On the other hand, both ECC Unbuffered and Non-ECC Unbuffered max out at 32GB via 4 x 8GB configuration. For this reason, we recommend ECC Registered DIMMs over ECC Unbuffered or Non-ECC Unbuffered. We will discuss the RAM options in depth in the video as well as show you how to best configure your Precision T3600 workstation tower.
