Human-nature interaction will always exist as long as life exists. Here are some of the riches that nature offers us.
The Shoe-billed stork (Balaeniceps rex), also known as the "whale-headed stork," is a fascinating bird found in the marshes of tropical East Africa, particularly in countries like Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania, and South Sudan.

This bird is instantly recognizable by its large, shoe-shaped bill, which is the most distinctive feature. The bill can grow up to 9 inches long and resembles a clog or a wooden shoe, hence the name "Shoe-billed stork."

The shoe-billed stork is considered to be a living fossil due to its ancient lineage, with fossils dating back over 40 million years.
