Here's the full Cataplana recipe:

Servings: 4-6
Time: 30-40 minutes
Special equipment: Cataplana dish

ALL THE GOOD STUFF YOU NEED:

200 g golden sea bream filet
200 g scabbardfish
3 large handful of clams
3 shrimp per person(12-18)
60 g chorizo
2 large potatoes
2 large onion
1 green pepper fruit
200 g fresh garden tomatoes
3 garlic cloves
2-3 bay leaves
3 tbsp olive oil
1 chili of choice
5 tbsp fresh parsley
240 g diced tomatoes from can
50 ml port wine
1 cup of white wine or Portuguese Vinho Verde
1 cup of water
Salt
White pepper

HOW'S IT COOKING:

1) Rinse the clams and cover them with ice cold water for an hour.
2) Rinse and cut the fish into pieces.
3) Peel and cut both your potatoes and onions into thin slices.
4) Rinse and cut a green pepper fruit and make sure not to include the seeds.
5) Cut your tomatoes into slices and chop garlic and parsley.
6) Now bring out the Cataplana dish and add a bit of olive oil in the bottom.
7) Lay the onion in the bottom and start making layers of the different ingredients.
8) The first layer should be in this order: Onion, pepper fruit, potatoes, tomatoes, garlic and chili.
9) Then add the fish and the clams.
10) Now add another layer of onion, pepper fruit, potatoes and tomatoes.
11) Add port wine, Vinho Verde, canned tomatoes and some water.
12) Lay the shrimps on top of the dish along with some chorizo.
13) Top it off with bay leaves and your freshly chopped parsley.
14) Seal the Cataplana dish and cook on high heat for 20 minutes. (if your fish is in large pieces, it could take a little longer)
15) Finish off your Cataplana with fresh lime zest and grinded black pepper and chopped parsley.
16) Serve it with your favorite toasted bread and some rice, and of course with a cold glass of white wine!
