The beauty of day-to-day life in Nanumaga island Tuvalu by NATU; Monden Natsuyo

Maloso, my Nanumaga-island mother, is rolling Fala leaves (which are the material for weaving mats and making leaf skirts). Asenati, my island sister, is grilling fish over coconut charcoal. Children caught a coconut crab in the bush. Elisefou climbs a tree with rolled ropes as every man on the island does and picks fresh coconuts. After all the work, children play around on the beach. It takes time to finish each work on the island, but our souls are always fulfilled with blessings granted by the sun and nature.
(I heartily thank you all, my family; Maloso, Fola, Asenati, Elisefou, Vaieli, Fimema, Haitia, Matatia, Moemiti and Hiro.)

I have been staying on remote islands in Tuvalu since 2004.
This footage is from our (I and my 7yr. old daughter then) second stay on Nanumaga island.
