The UK Garage scene and the UK music scene as a whole was in considerable shock after its colossal loss. We'd also like to remember the fallen heroes of the UK Garage scene, Jason Kaye (Top Buzz), MC Charlie Brown, MC Major Ace (Pay As U Go Cartel), Stormin MC (N.A.S.T.Y. Crew), Ashley Akabah (Architechs), Tubby T (Tales Of The Hood), MC Whizzard (of Radio 1's Dreem Team), DJ Bigga, MC Yoush (Anthill Mob), DJ Spanish Cockney, Sean Mitchell ("Celebrate Life" vocalist for Brasstooth), DJ Lisa, and, MC Zoukie Banton.
DJ Dee Kline and MC Hyperactive became one of the most talked about duos in London. In 1999, they released hit track 'I Don't Smoke' on Deekline's label Rat Records, which kicked up a storm in the raves and on pirate radio. That tune would become a UK Garage classics one which many DJs battered throughout the 90s and 2000s, also getting played by DJ Decoy and DJ Beats of the Kurupt FM crew on the BBC series, People Just Do Nothing.
In 2018, Flex FM were awarded a community radio license by OFCOM and they ceased to be a pirate radio station. They currently broadcast on 101.4FM and do live streams online via their website and on social media platforms.

MC Hyperactive began MCing with Deekline on London Jungle pirate radio station Don FM. In the late 90s they moved to Flex FM and their partnership was cemented with them collaborating at many of West London's top rave nights like "Panache". Deekline & Hyperactive did several UK Garage releases in the late 90s and 2000s, with "Fame And The Money" (1999) and "Sexy Cinderella" (2000). Hyperactive also worked with producers like Headtop, also getting booked for all the top UK Garage nights like "Garage Nation" and "Garage Delight". He recently collaborated with the Garage legends, MC Neat, MC Kie, MC Viper, MC Sharky P & Junior Buzz on MC Bellyman's S2E4 Car barz Part 2 Garage special. Hyperactive was also an integral part of Freeze FM.
