The ooze didn't just spill. It learned. SNOWGHOST's last burst came at 03:41:22. After that, silence for 47 minutes.

Then the depot's emergency beacon started screaming again — not Morse, not binary, but something that sounded like breathing through rusted pipes.

A C-17 Globemaster III cut through the polar night at 30,000 feet, rear ramp dropping over the drop zone 4 km out. CORVUS and SPECTER jumped HALO, black chutes blending with the aurora, landing in deep snow with weapons hot. They moved fast toward the depot.

SNOWGHOST was alive — last seen advancing on Tank 7 with his SIG MCX Rattler up, 300 Blackout suppressed, red dot steady on the black mass pouring from the cracked steel. The fuel pumps were running on their own, humming in perfect sync with the aurora overhead. The abandoned B-52 carcass in the hangar was no longer dead — its engines were warm. The ooze had found its way inside.

CORVUS and SPECTER hit the perimeter fence. Their orders: link with SNOWGHOST, contain the breach, and if necessary... burn the entire depot.

Over decades the name evolved - what started as "Raven Sector [Base Designation]" became shorthand for the entire decentralized network.

Raven Sector lives in the shadows, waging silent war against the darkest forces in the hidden corners of the Earth - and beyond.
