Donauwelle Cake | German recipes

Описание к видео Donauwelle Cake | German recipes

The second longest river in Europe, the Danube (or Donau in German) is an inspiration for this cake and that's because we get a stunning wave-like pattern in each slice.
I can only describe this cake as a marble cake with sour cherries and a pudding/custard layer topped off with a snappy chocolate layer, needless to say that this combination is an absolute winner!

The first time I tried this cake I thought I could eat the entire thing because it was so delicious, so be warned, it is very good and you can see how generous I am with the slices lol

Please watch the video to get all the tips and feel free to do some steps in advance. I hope you enjoy this jewel of a German recipe!
